No guaranteed approvals
Drafting services are not architectural, engineering or surveying services and do not include seals, stamps, permitting approval or code certification unless specifically stated in a written proposal and performed by an appropriately licensed professional. We cannot guarantee that any authority will approve a drawing set.
Warranty and liability
Services are provided as described in the written scope. To the extent permitted by law, no other warranties are made, total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the business operates, and the applicable venue and dispute-resolution process are confirmed in the written proposal.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
What this policy covers
This policy applies to CAD Verdict services. Software subscriptions and other software licenses are governed by the terms of the seller that processes the transaction.
Consultations
Paid consultations may be rescheduled or cancelled with reasonable advance notice, as stated in your written scope, for a full refund. Once a consultation has taken place, the time has been delivered and the fee is not refundable.
Deposits and work already performed
A deposit reserves production time and covers the review and setup that begins immediately. If a project is cancelled after work has started, completed work is billable at the rate or proportion stated in the written scope, and any balance beyond the value of work performed is refunded. Files for partially completed work are released as stated in the scope.
Cancellations
Cancellations should be sent in writing and take effect on receipt. We may also decline or end an engagement, for example where required files cannot be supplied, the scope falls outside what we can responsibly deliver, or the request would need licensed professional services we do not provide. In that case, amounts paid for work not performed are refunded.
Missed appointments
Scheduled sessions missed without reasonable notice may be counted as delivered. Any rescheduling allowance is stated in your written scope.
Custom work
Drafting, conversion, templates and standards are produced for one customer and cannot be resold. Once delivered and accepted, custom work is not refundable. Errors attributable to our production are corrected at no charge under the revision terms in the written scope.
Software transactions
Refunds, cancellations, billing changes and license transfers for software subscriptions, licenses and renewals are controlled by the seller that processed the transaction and must be requested from that seller. Refunds for CAD Verdict services are covered separately by this policy.
Billing questions
For a CAD Verdict service billing question, contact us first. For software billing, contact the seller shown on the transaction. Most issues are resolved faster with the party that processed the payment than through a card issuer.
